MÜ is a self-taught painter and sculptor.
At the age of 18 he left France for abroad, his travels and his meetings with different artists allowed him to develop his art.
Inspired by many artists like Vassily Kandinsky, Francis Bacon, Claude Monet ou Salvador Dali, he gradually evolved towards his own style.
SF films like Ridley Scott Blade Runner, Richard Linklater Scanner Darkly, David Lynch Eraserhead, Fritz Lang Metropolis as well as books like those of Philip K Dick, J.R.R Tolkien, Frank Herbert or Isaak Asimov inspired his creativity. Comics like Tsutomu Nihei Blame!, Keiko Nobumoto Cowboy Beebop, Samurai Champloo, Katsuhiro Otomo Akira, Buichi Terasawa Cobra or Masamume Shirow Ghost In The Shell mixed with achievements of Cromwell, Jodorowski, Philippe Druillet, Enki Bilal and Moebius are also part of his influences.
His canvases and comic strips are all made with acrylic paint because he can mix various materials, and his sculptures are made of clay and metal.
